Living Images - Emmaus Series
Jesus said: "I have come that they may have life and have it to the full."
This course will help you to explore the Maker’s Handbook to discover how we can live a full life as human beings. In the book of Genesis, we are described as 'living images' of God. You will be considering how God’s likeness is to be lived out from day to day.
You will be encouraged to pay attention to the good things God has given to us to make life not only possible, but joyful and rich as well; even when we experience human frailty and sinfulness. The purpose in doing this is to help our own lives work better, not to sort out each other – or the rest of the world! Life is a gift to be enjoyed, not a problem to be solved.
All those who followed the course have found that it changed their outlook.
This courses lasts 5 weeks (4 modules each of a week's duration with a week's 'half-term'). You would expect to log on several times during each module; the time needed in total (on and off-line) is around 3 – 4 hours per week.
